This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago while driving in a neighborhood in Killeen. It would meet the regulation, but the gate was open…even if the gate was closed, my 4 year old grandson could be in that pool in seconds, if he were not supervised or disciplined. The best solution is adult supervision- and teach swimming and water safety to kids and adults.

May 10 Last day for House to consider 2nd reading HBs/HJRs on Daily or Supplemental Calendar

 

May 11 Last day for House to consider HBs on 2nd and 3rd reading and ALL 3rd reading HBs/HJRs on Supplemental Calendar

 

May 18 Last day for House to consider local HBs on 2nd and 3rd reading

 

May 22 Last day for House to consider 2nd reading SBs/SJRs on Daily or Supplemental Calendar

 

May 23 Last day for House to consider SBs on 2nd and 3rd reading and ALL 3rd reading SBs/SJRs on Supplemental Calendar

            Last day for Senate to consider ALL bills and JRs on 2nd or 3rd reading

 

May 25 Last day for House to consider Senate Amendments

 

May 27 Last day for House to adopt CCRs

            Last day for Senate to concur in House Amendments or adopt CCRs

 

May 28 Last day of 80th Regular Session

 

June 17 Last day Governor can sign or veto bills passed during the previous legislative Session.

 

August 27 Most new laws take effect, unless they were given specific effective dates.  Some bills become law when the Governor signs them.
